IT'S A STAMPEDE THING
When you host a 10-day party for over a million people, things happen that might be unbelievable anywhere else, but out here everybody knows—It’s a Stampede Thing. We channeled each Stampede thing into TV and pre-roll spots.
New for 2017 was the Superpass, allowing unlimited entry for all ten days of Stampede. This pre-roll built excitement and helped make the Superpass a hot commodity.
Out-of-home executions helped build anticipation and excitement for the Stampede Things Calgarians long for all year.
On the heels of 2016’s sellout Stampede Lotteries campaign, we developed the 2017 campaign to celebrate The Best Summer Ever after a long, cold winter. Despite tough economic times and a greater volume of tickets granted by the AGLC, the 2017 campaign was among the most successful ever.
Also new for 2017 was igNITE, a one-night mashup of music and rides under the stars before Stampede’s official kick-off.
We designed the annual planner mailed to hundreds of thousands of Calgarians, helping them find their Stampede Thing.
We designed all communications material for the 2017 TransAlta Grandstand Show, Together—150 Years in the Making, a spectacular celebration of Canada’s milestone birthday.
